The Padel Beginner's Academy is a 6-week program designed for players that want to take their skills to the next level. The Academy offers structured lessons and practice.

Our program is currently FULL, however you can put your name down in the waiting list.

Padel League

• Divisions & Schedule:

  • Division 1 (Top Level): Plays Thursdays
  • Division 2: Plays Wednesdays
  • Division 3: Plays Mondays

• Teams per Division: 6 teams

• Match Schedule:

  • Total Matches Per Division: 10 (each team plays every other team twice)
  • Matches Per Week: 2 matches per team
  • Playoff Week: Final week (6th week)

• League Format:

  • Best of 2 sets
  • In case of a tie, a tiebreaker to 7 points will decide the winner.

Key Dates

• Registration Deadline: Sunday, February 9, 2025
• Challenge Week: February 10–18, 2025
  (Teams may challenge other teams in different divisions to move up or down.)
• League Start Date: Wednesday, February 19, 2025

Registration Information

• Individual Registration: Players must register individually.

  • If you have a partner: Write the name of your partner in the registration form.
  • If you do not have a partner: You will be allocated a partner with other players who do not have one.

• Payment Information:

  • A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required at registration.
  • The balance must be paid by the day of your first scheduled match.

Prizes

• 1st Place: Prize for the top team in each division (Division 1, 2, and 3).

Ranking System

• Ranked Matches: The league will be used to play ranked matches, utilizing the World Padel Ranking (WPR) system (https://www.worldpadelrating.com/), to begin building a more accurate ranking system for our players.

League Night Schedule

• Days & Divisions:

  • Mondays: Division 3
  • Wednesdays: Division 2
  • Thursdays: Division 1

• Timings: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Court Allocation:

  • 3 matches run simultaneously (one per court)
  • Each match lasts 1 hour.

League Movement

• Post-League Adjustments:

  • The top team from each division moves up to the next division.
  • The bottom team from each division moves down to the next division.

• Next League Start: Following a 1-week break.

The Padel Zone Ladder Challenge is now open for players of all levels! This is your chance to compete, improve, and connect with fellow members in an exciting, friendly competition.

Rules

1. You enter the ladder at the bottom and must work your way upward.*

2. You can only challenge teams up to a maximum of 3 places above you.

3. You cannot refuse a challenge, however you can propose different timing for the match.

4. Matches are the best of 3 sets with advantage scoring.

5. All players in the challenge ladder must register with the WPR (World Padel Rating) system online (it’s free to register) – this will give everyone a rating and allow us to find more partners for you to play with who are at or around your playing level far more easily. This will also give us accurate data to be able to seed teams in all forms of competitions/events far more easily/accurately and save time for all parties.

1. Book your own court. After the match has finished, please make sure you pass the match results onto a Padel Zone team member and register it to WPR (World Padel Rating).

2. If you are the challenging team and you win, you swap places with the other team – if you lose, you stay where you are.

3. Once you have played a challenge match, you cannot challenge the same team again until after you have challenged and played a different team in the ladder.

4. Cost is only $15 per month, per player, per entry. Pro and Founder’s Club members for free. Premium members pay $10.

5. Random prize draw each month for any team challenging matches! Each challenge counts as one entry in the draw.

* Exceptions could be made for players that already have a WPR and will be placed at a spot closer to their actual level of play (only done at the club’s discretion).
