We are thrilled to welcome María Picio as our Head Coach! Her dynamic and engaging coaching style, combined with her expertise and commitment to developing well-rounded skills, make her the perfect leader for our team.
With over 12 years of coaching experience, María brings an impressive record of training players across all levels—from beginners to top professionals—spanning Spain, Argentina, England, the Netherlands, Finland, and Sweden. She has even worked with some of the rising stars of the World Padel Tour (WPT), helping to shape their skills and competitive edge.
María has also enjoyed outstanding success competing and coaching on the Swedish Padel Tour, where she previously held a best ranking of #7, and has made notable appearances in FIP tournaments. Additionally, she has competed in multiple WPT tournaments, with her best result being a quarterfinals finish at Melilla 2018, where she battled against top talents Marta Ortega and Ariana Sanchez.

I have been competing in this sport for 6 years, which is why I want to show others my point of view and thinking during each situation of a match.

About Manuel
I am a lifelong sports enthusiast, deeply connected to racket sports since the age of 4. I dedicated much of my athletic journey to tennis, competing passionately until I was 18 years old. At that point, I discovered padel, swapped my tennis racket for a padel racket, and never looked back.
Padel quickly became my true calling, and I’ve since embraced the sport with the same energy and dedication that shaped my tennis career. I am thrilled to bring my passion, experience, and commitment to coaching at such an incredible club as Orange Padel. I look forward to inspiring players of all levels to improve, enjoy the game, and reach their full potential.
Soy un apasionado del deporte desde siempre, profundamente conectado con los deportes de raqueta desde los 4 años. Dediqué gran parte de mi trayectoria deportiva al tenis, compitiendo con pasión hasta los 18 años. En ese momento, descubrí el pádel, cambié mi raqueta de tenis por una de pádel, y nunca miré atrás.El pádel rápidamente se convirtió en mi verdadera vocación, y desde entonces he abrazado este deporte con la misma energía y dedicación que caracterizó mi carrera en el tenis. Estoy encantado de aportar mi pasión, experiencia y compromiso como entrenador en un club tan increíble como Orange Padel. Espero inspirar a jugadores de todos los niveles a mejorar, disfrutar del juego y alcanzar su máximo potencial.
Jag har alltid varit en sportentusiast och har haft en djup koppling till racketsporter sedan jag var 4 år gammal. Jag ägnade en stor del av min idrottskarriär åt tennis och tävlade passionerat fram till jag fyllde 18 år. Vid den tidpunkten upptäckte jag padel, bytte ut min tennisracket mot en padelracket och har aldrig sett mig tillbaka.
Padel blev snabbt min sanna passion, och sedan dess har jag hängivit mig åt sporten med samma energi och engagemang som präglade min tenniskarriär. Jag är glad över att kunna dela min passion, erfarenhet och mitt engagemang som tränare på en så fantastisk klubb som Orange Padel. Level: 2 - 3Every participant plays with all the other participants. You gather points for yourself by winning individual points during matches. A match lasts for a predefined number of points, eg. 24 points. Each point won gives you and your partner a point. When the round is finished the players with most points in each group will form a new group, the players with second most points form another group etc. A new round of games will be played in the new, more even, group and the winner is the player who has collected most number of points in total in the second round of games.
One drink (large beer, glass of wine or soft drink) is included.
